Engagement: Accountability Update

GracoRoberts remains focused on 'Accountability' this year.  From your feedback in both the Accountability and Performance Review focus groups in February, we recognized the need for consistency across the GracoRoberts Family of Brands in how managers set goals, conduct one-to-one meetings (1:1), share feedback, etc.  People Services, in collaboration with the ELT and our wider management team, will pilot two management trainings in Q2 to support our managers’ development. 

Performance Review Update 

Again, thank you for your feedback in February on the new performance review processes introduced for the 2024 year-end.  Your feedback indicated you want a mid-year review to be a check-in on how you are doing, celebrate what’s going well and understand any changes/re-focuses for the remainder of the year. 

We heard you!  Based upon your feedback, the mid-year will be simplified yet thorough. The mid-year will be in a one-to-one conversation: 

  • Your performance since January 1, 2025 
  • Progress on any current goals/KPIs set for this year 
  • Successes achieved so far this year, and areas for improvement or learning for the remainder of the year. 

Starting late May/early June, you will receive information on the process and any necessary training. 

Please note: When we mention an update on goals, we know some team members have not received goals yet. For those of you who have not completed goal setting with your teams, training will be provided in the coming weeks, allowing you and your team to set achievable goals to focus your efforts for the rest of the year during your mid-year review.
