Business Update: Building the Next Chapter Together
Leadership Updates Across the GracoRoberts Family
As GracoRoberts continues to grow and evolve as a global organization, we’re taking thoughtful steps to ensure our businesses are well positioned for the future. Recent leadership and organizational updates across Sky Mart, Silmid, and SkyGeek reflect our continued focus on collaboration, operational excellence, and delivering a seamless, omnichannel experience for our customers.
Change is never just about structure, it’s about people. These updates represent exciting opportunities for growth and fresh perspectives, while also giving us a moment to recognize and thank the leaders who have helped bring us to where we are today.
Sky Mart: Strengthening Leadership for Continued Growth
Sky Mart enters its next phase with strong leadership momentum.
Effective March 23, Esmeralda “Emy” Junquera joined the business as General Manager, reporting to Lee Sullivan, Chief Operating Officer. Emy brings deep operational and commercial experience, along with a collaborative, performance‑driven mindset. She will work closely with Juan Gonzalez, Vice President of Sales and Business Development, to maintain a sharp customer‑first focus as Sky Mart continues its growth journey.
Also joining Sky Mart on March 23 is David Cabreja, who stepped into the role of Accounting Manager, reporting to April Svinning, GracoRoberts Divisional Controller. David brings extensive accounting and finance expertise gained in complex, enterprise‑wide environments, further strengthening Sky Mart’s financial foundation.
As part of this transition, several leaders remained with the business to ensure continuity and a smooth integration into the GracoRoberts family. We extend our sincere thanks to Juan G. Robbin, Ana Maria Robbin, Alan Arnett, and Sandra Rivera.
Silmid: Supporting Evolution and Opportunity
At Silmid, Jas Dhillon concluded his time with the business at the end of March. Working closely with Lee Sullivan, Jas ensured a smooth transition and leaves a strong legacy, having advanced key commercial and operational capabilities, including modernising warehouse execution and supporting important customer wins that fuelled Silmid’s growth.
To support Silmid’s continued momentum:
- Ciara Jones has stepped into the role of Interim Director of Operations, a newly created position responsible for leading warehouse, purchasing, and quality. She reports to Lee Sullivan.
- Michelle Cummings, Vice President of Sales, and John Vogt, Chief Revenue Officer, now lead Silmid’s Sales and Customer Excellence teams. Michelle’s role expands to include Silmid alongside her ongoing GracoRoberts and Pacific Coast Composites responsibilities.
- Matthew Ellis, eCommerce Manager, and Rence Winetrout, Chief Digital Officer, continue to lead eCommerce growth and marketplace platform development.
These changes reinforce Silmid’s operational strength while keeping teams and customers supported during this period of transition.
SkyGeek: Honoring the Past, Investing in the Future
Willie Nelson concluded his time with SkyGeek on Friday, April 10. He guided the business through significant change, including its acquisition by GracoRoberts, and oversaw more than 100% growth since 2021 while strengthening SkyGeek’s operational foundation for long‑term success. As SkyGeek looks ahead, we are pleased to share that Jeff Cross has been appointed Director of Operations.
Jeff’s journey reflects the very heart of SkyGeek’s history and culture. He began his aviation career in 1990 fuelling planes at Sky Acres Airport, later working with SkyGeek founder Steven Styles. He remained with the business through its acquisition in 2022 and has since been a trusted, hands‑on leader during a period of rapid growth. Most recently serving as Operations and Compliance Manager, Jeff brings deep cross‑functional expertise, operational insight, and a true commitment to the team.
As Director of Operations, Jeff will lead Operations, Purchasing, and Customer Service, with responsibility for SkyGeek’s overall operational performance.
Looking Ahead
Change isn’t always easy, but it is essential to building a resilient, future‑ready organization. These leadership transitions reflect thoughtful, values‑driven decisions designed to support long‑term growth, strengthen our teams, and create new opportunities across the GracoRoberts family.
Thank you to everyone, past and present, who continues to contribute to our success. Together, we are building something meaningful, and the future ahead is full of opportunity.
