We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter in our digital journey!
Over the past month, our eCommerce and IT teams collaborated closely to launch a powerful new marketplace capability: Drop Shipping on Silmid.com and GracoRoberts.com.
This initiative is part of a broader, strategic transformation aimed at unlocking the full potential of our inventory across all digital platforms. The goal? To make it easier than ever for our customers to access the products they need, no matter where the inventory is held within our organization.
We’re currently in the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase, where we’re testing and refining the drop ship functionality with a curated selection of products. Specifically, we’re launching the top 50 best-selling items from Silmid and GracoRoberts. This means customers will soon be able to order these products directly through our websites, with items shipped straight from the Silmid/GracoRoberts’ warehouse to their door. It’s a win- win: faster delivery, broader selection, and a seamless shopping experience.
The feature is now in the final stages of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), a critical step to ensure everything works smoothly and meets our high standards. Once testing is complete, this new feature will go live on both Silmid.com and GracoRoberts.com (anticipated for July).

This is more than just a new feature, it is a foundational step toward a future Marketplace. The future Marketplace will enable our entire product ecosystem to be digitally connected and easily accessible. By creating an internal Marketplace model, we are:
- Expanding product availability to our customers
- Improving delivery times by streamlining fulfilment through direct-from- warehouse logistics
- Enhancing customer satisfaction with greater choice and convenience
- Laying the groundwork for a scalable, flexible eCommerce infrastructure
- Differentiating GracoRoberts as leading in the Aerospace
This is just the beginning. Following the success of this PoC, we will look to scale the drop ship model across our brands and products, bringing even greater value to our customers and partners.
