"Supporting these accounts isn’t easy—for one, there are so many of them, and we face restrictions around requesting updated pricing while still being challenged to grow. Leslie supports such a large group, yet she tries to make every customer feel valued and motivates them to return to us for future business. I’ve spent a little time in her queues recently, and it’s clear Leslie provides a superior level of service to both our low-buying customers and those she’s helped move beyond the Tier W designation. She never leaves anything on the table—often working late and on weekends—is always searching for solutions for her customers and is committed to getting things right the first time. When mistakes do happen, she communicates quickly and makes sure her customers are well cared for. Her passion for growth not only shows in her numbers but also in her focus on creating long-term relationships. I often hear her on the phone with customers—she’s thoughtful, thorough, and dedicated to making the sale. "I would like to recognize both Nerissa and Ricky for two of our Core Values – Sweep the Floor and Communicate. Over the past week and a half, a third of my quotes have been BQs, many with unusually tight due dates, with some requiring less than 24-hour turnaround. Even with Ricky and Nerissa on back-to-back PTO, they still completed every request, and we’re already seeing some quick conversions. I appreciate all of the time and effort they each put into managing these quick-turn quotes, allowing me to submit them on time to Lockheed and avoid requesting due date extensions. Thank you both so much!"
"We had an issue earlier in the week where a sales order had been raised on a product, however it came to light that the product had been made unavailable due to raw material issues. Sam and Becky, who are both still new to the team, worked with Global sourcing across US, Spain, and Italy to source an alternative product for the customer, alongside their usual day to day work. Within three days, they had managed to source an alternative product for the customer and arranged airfreight to the customer within the next 4 weeks. The customer was over the moon – thank you both."
I’d like to commend De'Vau, who has been incredibly helpful during my time here as I’ve been learning the ins and outs of shipping. He’s taken the time to teach me how to use the FedEx and UPS systems, ship freight, package items properly, handle Haz-Mat materials, apply labels, take weights, and more. Over the past month or so, no matter how busy or overwhelmed he may be, he always takes the time to stop what he’s doing and answer the many questions I seem to have each day. I also want to mention that when I was dealing with back pain, De'Vau never hesitated to help lift anything I couldn’t manage—often insisting on helping even when I was reluctant to ask. I know he doesn’t do any of this for recognition, but I believe it’s important to give credit where it’s due. His support has made a real difference in my learning and productivity, and I truly appreciate everything he does.
Gil took full ownership of our 6’s project, managing the shadow boards and collaborating closely with our associates to determine exactly what was needed ensuring every detail was in place, no matter what it took. Well done!
