Good Housekeeping Habits
- Clean as you go
- Keep doorways, walkways and aisles clear
- Maintain walking surfaces clean and dry
- Return tools, supplies and any unused items to storage area
- Regularly inspect and repair tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Ensure cabinets and drawers are closed when not in use
- Properly dispose of any trash or debris
- Clean-up spills immediately
- Report any chemical spills
- Report any unsafe conditions or hazards immediately
- Avoid “panic” cleanups
- Effective housekeeping is an ongoing operation
