Full-time Warehouse employees who are on the Mon-Thurs ten-hour shift (4x10), are eligible for (30) floater holiday hours and the Tues-Friday ten-hour shift (4x10), are eligible for (20) floater holiday hours with management approval. With the floater holiday hours added, the Mon–Thurs and Tues- Fri shifts receive 80 hours of paid holiday time, matching other SkyGeek schedules. Part-time employees are not eligible for the floater holiday.
Full-time employees are paid for the holiday when the holiday occurs on a day they would normally work
All team members on the 8-hour shift (office, remote, warehouse on 5x8) receive 80 hours with the current holiday schedule.
The team members on the Mon-Thu shift are short 30 hours with the 2027 holiday schedule, so they will receive (30) floater holiday hours, this brings them to 80 hours.
The team members on the Tues-Fri shift are short 20 hours with the 2027 holiday schedule, so they will receive (20) floater holiday hours, this brings them to 80 hours.
Part-time employees are paid for the holiday when it occurs on a day they would normally work. Holiday pay is based on the part-time employee’s normally scheduled hours.
Part-time Seasonal employees are not eligible for paid holidays.
You must work the scheduled day before and after the holiday to be paid for the holiday. You must have pre-approved PTO for an absence either before or after the holiday to receive holiday pay. Exceptions are rare and must be approved by both your manager and People Services.
