On the Spot Award Recipients (July)

The On the Spot Award program was developed to give employees a chance to recognize fellow teammates who go above and beyond in embodying our core values.  This program is newly launched/re-launched across our family of brands, GracoRoberts, Silmid, SkyGeek, and Pacific Coast Composites to recognize all employees who exceptionally demonstrate the following core values:

• Communicate. Share information with transparency and frequency.

"As we approached the end of Q2, Ashley noticed that I was tracking behind on my social media goals. Without hesitation, she took initiative to develop an Aerospace Acronyms Cheat Sheet—a creative and valuable resource that I was able to turn into a LinkedIn paid campaign. Thanks to her proactive support and collaborative mindset, the campaign reached over 16,000 impressions and helped GracoRoberts gain 130 new followers during the campaign period. Ashley’s willingness to step in, share her expertise, and deliver a thoughtful solution not only helped me move closer to my goal, but also demonstrated her strong commitment to teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous growth."

Despite multiple defects and challenges with the order, Hector tackled each issue head-on, problem-solving every step of the way. Thanks to his determination, the order was shipped via freight just in time on the final day of the month."

"The 50HP and Jaygo machines are currently down for rebuilding. Shaun was assigned to clean the mixing vessels associated with this equipment. In addition to completing that task, he took the initiative to thoroughly clean all the unused kettles on the floor, using a small wire brush to remove what was likely years of buildup from the exterior surfaces."

"Ivan has been instrumental in our efforts to become a 6S company. He has been stripping the floors in all areas where 5S cleanups have been completed. "Javier worked effectively and efficiently to complete 1.5 months’ worth of work orders that were scheduled on the Jaygo before it had to be taken down for repair. Thanks to his efforts, in June we did not have to worry about running the machine and instead focused on fixing it. The orders he has completed will have a significant impact on our OTD for the month of June."
