The On the Spot Award program was developed to give employees a chance to recognize fellow teammates who go above and beyond in embodying our core values. This program is newly launched/re-launched across our family of brands, GracoRoberts, Silmid, SkyGeek, and Pacific Coast Composites to recognize all employees who exceptionally demonstrate the following core values:

"Lockheed is looking forward to delivering on an 8-year project at the end of April. I have been reaching out to Cory almost daily for the past few weeks to expedite receipts and shipments; so much that he jokingly called it our morning check in. Cory has gone above and beyond through an already challenging time in High Point – providing quick responses, follow ups, and getting material received and orders shipped quickly. We have received many thanks from the Lockheed team for helping with their urgent last-minute requests, so I wanted to share the love. Thank you, Cory, for your part in helping our customer deliver the Orion crew capsule for Artemis II at NASA! "
Maggie Mendoza, Cristina Burnett, Chad Robson - Solve Problems, Sweep the Floor, Communicate - Recognized by Ashley Fontes
"I'd like to recognize Maggie Mendoza, Cristina Burnett, and Chad Robson with an On the Spot award for their teamwork and problem-solving during the MRO Americas trade show booth setup day.
When I arrived Monday morning in Atlanta at 8am EST, I discovered that our booth materials had not arrived at the convention center in time for setup. I did not have tracking information and the convention center had confirmed they had never received our freight shipment of booth materials. Cue the stress!
- Solve Problems, Sweep the Floor, Communicate – I texted Maggie before working hours in California and she made herself available to track down our missing pallet, which was sitting at a facility outside Atlanta. We were told all freight shipments for the day had already gone out and had to act fast. She worked directly with the FedEx supervisor to arrange a local pickup by our team.
- Solve Problems, Sweep the Floor – While I was still on the phone with Maggie, Cristina had already researched and secured a U-Haul rental just five minutes from the convention center. She coordinated the rental of a box truck and even took on the responsibility of driving it to retrieve the shipment—covering a 40-mile round trip.
- Solve Problems, Sweep the Floor – Anticipating that we would have to break down the pallet and hand-carry each item into the convention center, Chad stepped in and found the right people with forklifts at both pickup and delivery locations. Thanks to him, we avoided at least two hours of manual labor!
Despite the hectic morning and uncertainty, the team pulled together to retrieve our booth materials and complete setup—with three hours to spare on move-in day. I'm incredibly grateful for your teamwork, quick thinking, and can-do attitude."
