Performance Reviews: Prepare for Meaningful Conversations

As we move into January, it’s time for Performance Review Conversations—a key part of our enhanced 2025 review process. These discussions are scheduled for later in January through mid-February.

Once your manager schedules the performance review conversation with you, you will want to prepare for the meeting.

To make these conversations productive and respectful, please keep the following in mind:

  • Choose a private setting—whether in person or via Teams, ensure no one else is around.
  • Prepare in advance—review both the self-review and manager review before the meeting.
  • Use specific facts—ground your discussion in examples and measurable outcomes.
  • Leverage reference guides—these tools are designed to help structure your conversation.
  • Engage and participate—this is a two-way dialogue, so come ready to listen and share.

If you have questions or need support, reach out to People Services or join an upcoming Q&A session.

Looking Ahead: Accountability, Engagement & Manager Training

As we move into 2026, we’re doubling down on accountability and engagement. Based on feedback from the 2024 Engagement Survey, we will continue rolling out manager training focused on core responsibilities, including:

  • Giving and receiving feedback
  • Coaching and development conversations
  • Showing appreciation
  • Handling difficult conversations

These skills are essential for building trust, improving team performance, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.

Process Improvements Across All Sites

We’ve made great strides in streamlining processes—from implementing 6S principles in warehouse operations to updating onboarding procedures and revising job descriptions. In 2026, we’ll continue to simplify and improve workflows across all locations to make work smarter and more efficient.

Stay tuned for further announcements as we work together to build a stronger, more connected organization.
