RE: Material Shortages Impact Supply Chain
We are thankful to see the industry begin to rebound from what has been an unprecedented year of global uncertainty. As we work to recover from the COVID pandemic, we see the impact that it has made at all stages of the aerospace supply chain. Over a year of economic downturn, business closures, delayed shipments, order reductions and cancellations, and scaled back inventory levels means that there is much work to do to regain optimum workflow.
We want you to know that we are working on a daily basis with our manufacturer partners and building new supplier relationships to solve problems and secure product that is now less immediately accessible than it was before. Demand is largely outpacing supply and the recent weather issues across the United States have compounded the issue.
We are working tirelessly to secure inventory and deliver what you need, when you need it. However, given the extended lead times we are experiencing from many of our key manufacturer partners, we encourage our customers to place orders earlier than normally planned.
