SkyGeek's SAP Implementation

GracoRoberts IT Team has kicked off 2025 with a major milestone—the successful completion of SkyGeek’s SAP implementation. The SkyGeek project team demonstrated exceptional dedication, spending the Christmas and New Year’s break planning and preparing for their Go-Live on January 2nd. This effort involved completing data migration processes, importing transactional data, and meticulously reviewing last-minute steps to ensure a smooth transition.

As with any Go-Live, there were inevitable hiccups. However, thanks to our team's quick remediation strategies and extensive training, we were able to address warehouse operational challenges efficiently. Most importantly, these issues were resolved without impacting customers, showcasing the effectiveness of our preparation. The seamless transition reinforced confidence among users, who were impressed by the system’s capabilities and improvements.

SAP further enhanced operations, with the warehouse implementing Produmex, improving inventory management and order fulfillment processes. Additionally, other departments, such as Procurement and Customer Service, benefited from Saltbox and Boyum solutions, which enhanced system integrations, automated workflows, and improved overall efficiency. These tools also ensured a seamless connection with SkyGeek's existing systems, such as BigCommerce and UDH, creating a more unified and streamlined business environment.

The implementation of SAP has already brought significant enhancements to SkyGeek’s business processes, improving operational efficiency and data accuracy. Currently, SkyGeek is in the Post Go-Live phase, where the project team continues refining minor details and identifying opportunities for further optimization. While there is always room for improvement, this successful SAP implementation has not only met but exceeded our expectations, marking a significant step forward in SkyGeek’s digital transformation journey.
